Good weekend

Had a calm and relaxing weekend. Went for a walk with Jonny and Carina, since the weather was so good. We caught up in the evening as well for dinner at Balti, Indian place. It was nice, too nice... we struggled to fit some beer in our stomachs.

Yesterday I went in to town to do some shopping. Boring stuff, like headache tablets. Met up with Carina for some coffee and window shopping. Came home and turned the radio on for the big game.... Kalmar FF (the good team) vs. Elfsborg. Kalmar won and I was celebrating in the bathroom, that I was cleaning at the time.

The good thing about living alone...

is all the books you have time to read. Finished Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince yesterday, and was really surprised by how it ended... no, no, I won’t tell!
Now I'm reading something a bit more mature, the memoirs of Goran Persson (former prime minister of Sweden).

Weather forcast

Sometimes I wonder if there's any point to predict the weather in Ireland...

All alone

Lem went to Australia yesterday and I'm all alone!! I miss him already and I wish I was in Australia too. Next year!
The positive thing about being alone is that I can read more books. No distractions!

half day off

Just finished one of those massive experiments today. Feel a bit drained now, and think I will go home and relax. I need the energy for the rest of the week. Have to start another experiment tomorrow, maintain some cells, go through the raw data from the previous experiment, and read some paper. On top of that, my sister and her family will come over to Dublin for the week-end. It's gonna be full on, but loads of fun. The little energy I've got left today is gonna be spent on organising some events for the week-end. A trip to Newgrange and the Viking Splash Tour. How does that sound!?

Relaxing

Had a relaxing weekend. Well needed. Lem had the Sunday off and we spent the day in town. Photo exhibition and coffee in St Stephen's green. Lunch in the Italian quarters and a flick "Mama Mia!". Had a couple of pints in Gerge's Archade Bar and had take-out for dinner. So relaxing!
