Dead experiment

I didn't work late yesterday. The experiment crashed and I stopped it. Usually I would be angry and mumble some swearwords, but I was so tired and pretty happy about going home earlier and sleep in!
So, I spent the evening having a couple of pints with my working mates to celebrate a freshly produced doctor from Focas, and going to bed early with a film, kebab, and Lem.

hard work

Another day of fun fun. I will be working late. I'm under the stop watch again and I'm running in and out of the lab like a dizzy hen. I hope it'll be worth it!

Last weeks hard work gave some results! Unfortunately Cancer scored 1-0.

A pint in the middle of an experiment

In the middle of an experiment. It's Friday and I'm dying to go for a few pints. And I will, but first I'm gonna go home and have a nap, 'cause I didn't get much sleep last night. Finished work half ten yesterday and started at 6.45 this morning. I start 6.45 tomorrow as well, so it'll not be late tonight. But I need a pint for my own sanity. Cheers!

work, work

This afternoon I will start a new BIG experiment. I'm already concentrating on NOT fucking it up. There's a few things that can go wrong. Wish me luck!

Our new home town

The weekend in Sligo was good and strange. It feels a bit scary to actually move there. It's so much smaller than Dublin, and it feels so remote. Anyway, we both liked Strandhill, situated a few kilometres away from Sligo town. It's a village by the sea, with cosy bars and restaurants and surfers. Sligo town is nice too, but very quite on Sundays...
It felt nice to come back to Dublin yesterday, though I'm sure we're going to love Sligo once we're settled in.

Sligo

Was in Sligo yesterday to have a look at my new college. It seems nice, and the town even better. I will go there again over the weekend, but with Lem. We need to check the place out to find a good spot to live in. I'm looking forward to getting out of Dublin for a couple of days. I need to stay away from work!

Working late

It's gonna be late today. My supervisor, James, left me with some more work and went to pick up his son from the creche. You can't really argue with that. I've only got a book and some food to come home to (Lem is working untill eleven). Right now I'm having my emergency "cup-a- noodle". Important stuff. No food, no work!

Under the power of cells

If you have ever read the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, you know that it's the mice using us for experiments and not the other way around...
I start to beleive that my cells are working with me! Yesterday I was about to start a new experiment that takes three days. Went in to the lab to check the fellows out, and they said: "We don't want to work today, we are tired and want to sleep. Come back tomorrow!.... We don't care that you have to work on Saturday!"
I had no choice than to leave them alone and hope for better luck today. They decided for me to work on Saturday! They are really testing me!!

Jose Gonzalez

Yesterday me and Lem went to see Jose Gonzalez at the Academy. You've got to love him. The biggest disappointment was that they didn't sell any records, actually nothing. We started a new record collection when we moved to our new flat at Mountpleasant avenue. We've got three so far, and last night we were getting number four. We were so disappointed. Oh well, the gig was great and made up for it.

Bank Holiday weekend

The weekend all been waiting for! Well, we had completely forgotten about it and had plans to pay Sligo a visit. Bank Holiday weekends are mad and we couldn't face the traffic and the probably high hotel prices, so we stayed home.

We had a very dry weekend too! Starting with Batman on Friday, a quite night in on Saturday, shopping in Dundrum on Sunday, and shopping with Jonny yesterday. Lem was off course working Saturday and yesterday, poor thing.

Kajsa goes English

I have for some time been asked to translate my Swedish blog into English...
Well, I'm not going to. Though, as a compromise I'm starting this new blog and will try to keep you up to date in the future.
